Labor Day was in full swing on Monday as celebrities enjoyed the day off from the work week. Several went on vacation while others had staycations in their backyards.

Jennifer Lopez was in Los Angeles, Salma Hayek has been in Ibiza, and Chrishell Stause spent last week in Mykonos. 

Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker are taking in a mountain vacation with their new dog.

Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday of September. The day recognizes the American labor movement.

In the late 19th century, trade unionists proposed that a day be set aside to celebrate labor. Labor Day had its first parade in New York City in the late 1880s. By the time it became an official federal holiday in 1894, thirty states in the U.S. officially celebrated Labor Day.

Battlefield also known as Campo di battaglia is a 2024 Italian war drama film directed by Gianni Amelio, written by Amelio and Alberto Taraglio, and starring Alessandro Borghi as a World War I-era doctor in Northern Italy.

The film is competing for the Golden Lion and is scheduled to be released in Italy on 5 September 2024.

The Frida star, 57, looked sensational in a bright yellow swimsuit with her hair in braids. 

She posed on the boat with the Spanish flag flapping in the wind behind her busty display.

‘Yellow bikini + White hair = perfect combination,’ she captioned the post in English first before switching to Spanish.

‘Bikini amarillo + Cabello blanco = combinación perfecta,’ she added.

The Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress has been enjoying the month of August on various yachts and in various pools in France and Spain with her husband, billionaire  Francois-Henri Pinault, 62.

Hayek previously revealed she stays fit by practicing restorative yoga, juice cleanses, and walking her numerous dogs whom she’s called her ‘trainers.’

‘I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work. I’m working. I thought getting older maybe meant that you’re not in love anymore. I’m in love,’ the half-Mexican, half-Lebanese American told Glamour last year.
