NFL legend Shannon Sharpe denies going on Instagram live while having sex

Shannon Sharpe says his Instagram was hacked after a sex act appeared to be streamed live on his account.

In footage, which has since made its way to X, broadcast to fans of the NFL legend, a man and woman can be heard getting intimate.

A woman can be heard moaning and a man can be heard breathing heavily, however, no one’s face can be seen throughout the video as the camera is pointing at the ground.

And Sharpe has moved to claim that he was not one of the two people in the video and did not have anything to do with its leak.

In a now deleted post on his Instagram story, Sharpe said: “Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out — UNC.”

Screen grabs of the recording show that at one point more than 6,500 people were simultaneously tuned into the video.

Regarded as one of the greatest tight ends of all time, NFL Hall of Famer Sharpe enjoyed a 14-year playing career, primarily with the Denver Broncos. He also represented the Baltimore Ravens between 2000-01.

The three-time Super Bowl winner has never been married and explained why on his podcast last year.

“I would’ve loved to have gotten married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important thing,’ he said.

“So I was no good. I was a terrible father, I probably was a terrible brother, terrible son – I definitely was a terrible boyfriend. Because football was the most important thing.

“I was consumed with that because I wanted to get my grandmother, my family out of the conditions that they would be in.

“… I had a lot of women say that they could be okay with being No. 2 to football. But when it came right down to it and they see how devout I was in it, they couldn’t.”
