Joshua vs Dubois undercard: Buatsi in action as Cacace takes on Warrington

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will meet this weekend but before they clash, there are some exciting bouts in store.

The Brits are set to fight for the IBF heavyweight title which Dubois inherited after being upgraded from his interim belt due to Oleksandr Usyk’s decision to vacate.

It gives Joshua the chance to become only the sixth-ever three-time heavyweight champion and he can do so in front of a record-breaking Wembley crowd.

The main event is going to be a blockbuster, but there is going to be a thrilling undercard beforehand…

Joshua vs Dubois: Undercard

There are two other title fights on the card at Wembley.

One of those is a huge clash between Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson for the interim WBO light-heavyweight title.

Buatsi boasts an unbeaten professional record of 18-0 and comes into this bout after beating Dan Azeez in February to put himself well in contention for a shot at the light-heavyweight belt.

A win against Hutchinson, who hasn’t lost in the ring since 2021, would keep him well on the path to a world title fight.

Before that though, champion Anthony Cacace will defend his IBF super-featherweight title against Josh Warrington

The Irishman stunned Joe Cordina earlier this year to claim his first world title and now he takes on a two-time world champion in Warrington.

The boxer from Leeds last held this strap in 2022 but needs to find some winning form again after losing his last two bouts.

Tyler Denny and Hamzah Sheeraz will also meet on the undercard, with the latter winning 16 of his 20 fights by knockout.

Eddie Hearn and Simon Jordan get in heated exchange previewing Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois as Hearn says Dubois quit twice against Oleksandr Usyk and Joe Joyce , but Jordan says AJ did that against Andy Ruiz Jr

Sheeraz has been rising up division and is proving very hard to stop, but Denny will want to hand him his first loss as he defends his European middleweight belt.

Josh Kelly also takes on Ishmael Davis after Liam Smith had to pull out due to a virus.

Kelly has not lost since 2021 and will be aiming to continue his impressive streak against Davis, who recently beat Troy Williamson to extend his unbeaten record to 13-0-0, with six knockouts.

Elsewhere, beginning the event at Wembley is Mark Chamberlain vs Josh Padley, with both Englishman boasting unbeaten professional records.

One of them will taste defeat for the first time later this month though, in what is expected to be a thrilling start to the card.
