Abbie Chatfield thanks anti-vaxxers for ‘paying her rent’ by sharing her Covid-19 vaccination videos

Abbie Chatfield has been a vocal advocate for Covid-19 vaccinations.

The former Bachelor star, who got her AstraZeneca jab earlier this year, has been making ‘Vax for Vibes’ content to campaign for vaccine uptake.

On Tuesday, the 26-year-old sarcastically thanked the anti-vaxxers who share her content for inadvertently helping to promote her message.

‘The anti-vaxxers are making whole posts about my Vax for Vibes content and I’m so glad they’re in support,’ she said in an Instagram Stories video.

‘They’re posting the whole video, they’re advertising for me, getting my impressions up, making sure the word is spread about the Vax for Vibes campaign’.

Abbie added that she is even making money on social media thanks to the boost.

‘I am so stoked they are getting hundreds of comments. And I am so glad that they want me to earn more money by getting me more impressions this week because they all tag me,’ she said.

‘So they’re now looking at my Instagram account, which is getting my impressions up and makes me more money so thank you so much for paying my rent this month anti-vaxxers.

‘I’m so glad you’re promoting this little campaign for the bush. It is so important to spread awareness and normalise vaccines.’

It comes after the reality star took a brief break from social media after feeling ‘triggered’ by anti-vaxxers attacking her.

Abbie said she’s received an ‘endless’ amount of nasty messages from people on social media.

‘There’s thousands. It’s endless,’ she began, before calling them out individually.

Abbie shared some of the offensive messages she’s received, and revealed she’s been forced to turn off her comments to people who aren’t following her.

Becoming emotional, Abbie confessed she was starting to feel ‘a bit triggered back to Bachelor days’ by all the abuse she was copping.

‘But seriously though, I think I’m gonna try and just have tomorrow at least off Instagram because I’m getting really triggered. It just feels like it did after Bachelor.

‘So, uh, yeah, there’s just a lot of threats of violence… So probably talk to you guys in a day or two.’

Abbie was back on social media on Friday, after signing off on Thursday night, and back to sharing pro-vaccine content.
