The new season of The Bachelor is set to feature plenty of drama. 

According to leading man Jimmy Nicholson, he lost his cool during one episode following an incident among the women in the mansion.

‘One night in particular, something unfolded where I cracked the sh*ts a little bit,’ he told news.com.au.

‘The penny dropped that someone who was there, who I thought was this person, was in actual fact someone completely different.’

The 31-year-old admitted that things reached ‘boiling point’ when he confronted the bachelorettes in a tense scene. 

‘It’s going to be interesting to see how that comes off,’ he added.

In a trailer for the season, Jimmy is shown sending one scandalous bachelorette packing following the incident.

‘I don’t want to sit here and have an argument with you. I think it’s time you should go,’ he tells the woman.

It comes after Jimmy confirmed he has picked a winner and is happily in love.

Ahead of next week’s season premiere, the airline pilot told New Idea: ‘I have been in love twice before and I am happy to say that I’m in love now.’

He also told TV Week: ‘I have found love. I dropped the L-bomb. I told her I loved her, which is a big thing for me – so I’m honestly really happy to say that.’

Jimmy also revealed he planned many of the dates on show himself, unlike previous Bachelors who rely on the producers to do it for them.

‘Yes, I came up with most of them myself,’ he told New Idea.

‘I know I have limited time with the girls and I want to plan dates that would show the traits I was looking for in a girl.

The Bachelor premieres Wednesday, July 21, at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
