Bobby and Giada In Italy will follow the pair as they cook and eat their way through De Laurentiis’ home country of Italy, according to People.
So far there’s no official word on whether the premise of the series will focus more on cooking and recipes, or tasting, or perhaps a tasty portion of both.
The January 4 series premiere also coincides with the launch of the Discovery+ platform. The service will cost $4.99 a month and include more than 2,500 shows and 55,000 “real-life” TV episodes from HGTV, Food Network, OWN, Animal Planet, TLC, among others.

De Laurentiis, 50, also shared some of the details of her trip to her 1.7 million Instagram followers by sharing a photo of herself jumping in the streets of her native city with caption: ‘There’s no place like ROME,’ along with a big red emoji.
