BTS star Jungkook bares sculpted abs as he poses for new Calvin Klein campaign… before K-pop singer enters mandatory military service

K-pop star Jungkook of BTS fame bared his chiseled abs in a Calvin Klein modeling campaign guaranteed to send his fans wild.

The 25-year-old, who was just named global brand ambassador for the iconic American fashion house, inaugurated his new role in style.

In a string of new pictures, the singing sensation showed off his muscles as he went shirtless under a string of denim jackets.

One evocative snapshot saw him shooting the camera a come-hither stare while folding his hands behind his head to spread his jacket even wider open.

Last year BTS announced a temporary hiatus while its members complete South Korea’s mandatory military service.

Under his country’s law, men have to spend 18 to 21 months in the military and must enlist by the age of 28, which Jungkook will reach in September 2025.

Different members of the band are joining up at different times, allowing the ones not currently in service at any given point to pursue their own solo projects.

Before his buzzy new Calvin Klein campaign, Jungkook’s work outside BTS included playing the opening ceremony of last year’s scandal-ridden FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He wrote a single called Dreamers especially for the World Cup, where he performed it live with the local Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.

Calvin Klein announced this Tuesday that Jungkook, whose full name is Jeon Jung-kook, had been named global brand ambassador.

‘I have been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time, and I’m thrilled to be their newest global ambassador,’ he said in a statement via the brand’s parent company PVH.

‘This partnership is very special, as heritage and brand values resonate with me. My music is how I communicate with my fans around the world, and I see this partnership as an opportunity to connect with them in a new way.’

The international phenom concluded: ‘I’m incredibly excited for people to see a new side of me in this first campaign for the brand.’

Jungkook’s latest professional venture comes weeks after his old BTS bandmate RM laid out his thoughts about the future of the group.

‘When you are famous, staying on top is very difficult, but I think BTS will make it,’ RM told the Madrid-based news agency EFE.

‘It will come together again when we finish our military service, and we will look for new synergies between us to enter a second phase.’

However RM, 28, who was a solo rapper before embarking on his career with BTS, noted that ‘in any case, nothing lasts forever.’
