Martha Kalifatidis was put to the test during various fundraising challenges on Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice.

And the Married At First Sight star, 33, revealed on Thursday she would turn to her boyfriend Michael Brunelli for support when things became particularly stressful.

Martha told Yahoo! she often found herself calling her personal trainer beau in the nerve-racking moments before entering the boardroom with Lord Alan Sugar.

‘Michael was so supportive. I would always be calling him, and being like, “Help me, I’m stressed, what do you think I should do?”‘ she said.

She added: ‘Michael was like… “When you would be on the phone to me before going in, it sounded like you were literally kidnapped and held hostage.”‘

She also praised him for hearing her out after her exhausting days on set.

‘I would come home after filming dead, exhausted, and he would always be happy to hear me out. I can’t say one bad thing about him,’ she said.

Despite being fired from Celebrity Apprentice before the finale, Martha managed to win $40,000 for her chosen charity, Bully Zero. 

The Block judge Shaynna Blaze ended up winning the show, earning a record-breaking $489,000 for domestic violence charity Voice of Change.

Martha and Michael met on season six of Married At First Sight in m2019, and are one of the few remaining couples who have stayed together after the show.

While Michael hasn’t proposed yet, the couple have said they hope to get married and have children someday.
