Wippa recalled: ‘I remember one day I saw him in a makeup chair and he was when he a little longer in normal in a make up chair.

‘He got out of the chair and he looked more orange than Donald Trump. He was covered in make up, full orange, with the white eyes,’ he added, as the studio giggled.

Ross explained his heavy makeup look was that it was the boardroom in which participants had to justify why they were ‘good business person.’

‘I had full make-up on, and it wasn’t until I was literally about to walk in and all the sudden you can hear radios going “stop stop, you’re not going in like that”.

‘It was ironic because some of the other people on the show had make up that was more full on than that,’ he joked.

Wippa, also in on Ross’ joke, then chimed in, ‘They (the producers) knew that we were close.

‘One of the producers took me aside and said have you noticed Ross’ make-up? Has something happened? And I went “Yeah, it’s really sensitive so don’t ask him about it,”‘ he laughed.

Joke over: Ross said, 'I had full make-up on, and it wasn't until I was literally about to walk in and all the sudden you can hear radios going "stop stop, you're not going in like that"

‘The next thing you know the boardroom stops, Ross has got one of the executive producers on the side and he’s saying “you’re going to have to change your face” to Ross.

‘And Ross is saying: “if I was a woman you would not tell me to change my makeup”,’ he laughed.

Ross will join the likes of Michelle Bridges, Olympic gymnast Olivia Vivian and Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis in the competitive show.
