Channel Nine’s new cooking show Snackmasters is slammed by viewers as ‘Australia’s longest Hungry Jacks ad’

Channel Nine’s new cooking show Snackmasters debuted on Monday night.

Hosted by MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow, the series sees Australia’s top chefs attempt to replicate some of the country’s most iconic snacks.

But viewers watching at home were disappointed by what they saw, with many likening it to one long advertisement for burger chain Hungry Jacks.

Someone else asked: ‘Do we really need this one and a half hour ad for Hungry Jacks?’

'This program doesn't need advertising. Entire program is commercial for Hungry Jacks, Twisties etc,' a viewer Tweeted
