TMZ claimed their sources said that the battery investigation will most likely be dealt with by the City Attorney, as it would be a misdemeanor charge.

The report comes two months after Brown threw himself a massive birthday party complete with 500 guests that had to be shut down by the LAPD at 2am.

The controversial artist – who has had several run-ins with the law – turned 32 earlier this year and threw a bash to celebrate with several dozens of pals.

It is interesting to note, however, that police did not actually show up to Brown’s home until 2am when things reached a boiling point with his neighbors.

Insiders for the publication said that the music was turned down but the gathering was still broken up as law enforcement had estimated that there were between 400 and 500 guests in attendance.

Several squad cars arrived at the scene and guests who had parked illegally also received parking tickets.

There were a few videos posted on social media from inside of the party which showed plenty of people letting loose at the troubled artist’s home.

At one point Brown was even seen huddled up with a bunch of friends for a group photo.

According to TMZ four police cars and a supervisor had been sent to the home given the singer’s troubled history at his home.

Two years ago, police had done a wellness check on Brown in February 2019 after he had posted his address on social media amid his feud with Offset according to TMZ at the time.

Later that year, LAPD were called after the artist threw a massive yard sale in November 2019.

In August 2016,  Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a prolonged, 11-hour stand-off with the police at the mansion.

Brown was also charged with felony assault and making criminal threats after an argument turned violent when he physically assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in Los Angeles on Feb. 8, 2009.

Chris pleaded not guilty in April 2009 to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats stemming from the Feb. 8 incident where Rihanna required hospitalization due to visible face injuries.

He later pleaded guilty to a felony after accepting a plea on June 22, 2009 and received five years of probation in addition to community service and domestic violence counseling.
