Coronation Street SPOILER: Killer Corey is confronted by a busker

Coronation Street‘s Corey Brent’s killer ways could finally be exposed in the coming weeks as he is confronted by a busker.

In scenes filmed on Monday, actor Maximus Evans could be seen squaring up to the street performer after he performed a melody about his killer behaviour in front of his parent’s house.

Viewers have been calling for Corey to get his comeuppance ever since he killed teen Seb Franklin, and many were furious when he was acquitted of the crime in scenes earlier this month.

The dramatic scenes showed Corey storming over to the busker who launched into a song on his parents doorstep.

It appears the performer could have crucial evidence that may finally incriminate Corey after he was cleared of murder.

It remains to be seen whether the busker could provide the right information to finally put Corey behind bars.

This summer, a week’s worth of soaps were uploaded to the ITV Hub early during the Euro 2020 competition, meaning fans of both sport and soaps could avoid huge schedule clashes.

And now, ITV’s Director of Television Kevin Lygo has said that due to the success of the temporary measure, it could be a possibility that there may be a permanent shift to early streaming online.

Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, he said of the possible changes: ‘On soaps – it’s possible [that the soaps could stream on the hub first], it’s a possible future.

‘For us, part of the restructure and its effect on commissioning is that we wanted to bring together in one place all aspects of what used to be called broadcasting, so the commercial programming and delivery so that it is more in line with modern behaviour and tastes.

‘ITV is incredibly successful at getting large numbers of people to come and watch the show at the same time.’

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
