Cynthia Nixon reveals her family is ‘good’ in Sex And The City redo And Just Like That…

The highly anticipated Sex and the City revival And Just Like That is set to premiere on HBO Thursday. 

And on Wednesday star Cynthia Nixon was seen chatting up the series on the Today Show as she offered an update on her character, attorney Miranda Hobbs.

‘We’re good, I will say, Miranda, Steve and Brady are all still living in Brooklyn. Brady is a teenager,’ she said, making it clear her family is still intact.

Miranda revealed that when she had filmed the pilot of SATC, her eldest son was eight months and now he is 25.   

Cynthia also directed episode six of the show.

‘It was daunting and it was exciting but ultimately really, really thrilling and you know everybody was so supportive. The crew was incredibly supportive, the cast,’ said Nixon.

‘They gave me so much prep time ahead of time so when we actually started filming I could hit the ground running, which was great.’

Fun group: Miranda also explained about the image of herself with her team wearing bomber jackets that read 'Better not younger.' She shared that it was because when she was a redhead in the show, she said the person doing her hair used a product that was called JFR - which stood for Just for redheads

She said they had T-shirts made of that said JFR and Team Nixon.

So for the series, Miranda had a product called Better not younger used in her blonde hair so she made jackets with for her team.  

And Just Like That the series will premiere on Thursday, December 9, on HBO.

Meanwhile, Kristin shared a cast photo on Instagram.

She posed alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Willie Garson, Cynthia, Sara Ramirez, Mario Cantone, Cathy Ang and Alexa Swinton.

She captioned the image: ‘I wanted to start today by paying homage to friends old and new. Especially our dear @Wilie.garson. This is a picture of our first read thru for And Just Like That…’

‘We wish you could be here to celebrate with us. But we know he is enjoying the hoopla from afar.’ 

Willie, who portrayed Stanford Blatch on the series and films, died in September at the age of 57.

He reportedly died while battling cancer, according to TMZ.

Willie had filmed scenes over the summer with the cast before his passing in the fall.
