Dancing On Ice 2023’s John Fashanu became the first star on the line-up to be eliminated from the ITV series on Sunday night.
And the episode saw Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 29, opt or a more traditional outfit as she returned to the rink for the dreaded skate off which saw judges save her over the England footballer, 60.
The Love Island star appeared to want to let her skating do the talking and slipped into a sparkly purple dress after last week’s saucy bodysuit resulted in 112 Ofcom complaints.

The dress features a colour blocked purple design as well as a peplum skirt that covered much of Ekin-Su’s jaw dropping curves.
Taking to Twitter one fan wrote: ‘Ekin-Su is effortlessly pretty and made a much better choice of outfit this week. John [Fashanu] did well for a 60 year old beginner but the right decision was made’.
While others added: ‘That dress is stunning!’ and ‘Congratulations, you looked beautiful tonight’.

X Factor’s Jake Quickenden teased: ‘That was deffo better than just crawling about wasn’t it lol… Go on Ekin-Su.
Judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were all in agreement and voted for Ekin-Su to stay in the competition as she included ‘more technical skating in he routine’.
When asked by host Holly Willoughby whether he enjoyed the experience or not, John replied: ‘Oh, it’s been great,’ before saying that it was like the FA Cup final all over again.

However despite her best efforts Ekin-Su found herself facing further backlash after inadvertently flashing her bottom during the routine.
When her frock slipped up throughout to reveal her hot pink underwear beneath.
Before the wardrobe malfunction Ekin-Su opened up about her troubled debut telling host Holly Willoughby, 41, the uproar left her in tears.

Holly said: ‘Just want to find out how you are doing it’s a difficult week, knowing that you’ve got to face the skate-off tonight.’
Ekin replied: ‘I’m not going to lie I was really upset for the last two days and I was literally questioning myself.’
She added: ‘I’m just like you know what stop this crying Ekin, you’re strong, take on what the judges say, work hard, and I’m here today.’

The Love Island star recreated a memorable scene from the ITV2 reality show where she crawled on the ground and prompted over 100 Ofcom complaints from viewers who thought the routine was too racy for the family friendly series.
Speaking before the skate-off she said: ‘I’m not going to lie I was really upset thinking what have I done wrong but I’m strong, I need to work hard and prove myself.’
