Brand new season of Channel Seven’s Dancing with the Stars: All Stars will begin shooting in September


Dancing with the Stars: All Stars will be busting out some dance moves as it returns for another season.

The hit Seven series is set to resume filming for the upcoming season in late September, according to TV Tonight

It will feature a virtual audience instead of a live studio audience due to Covid restrictions.

The competition is expected to take place at the Sydney Convention Centre at Darling Harbour. 

The show is scheduled to begin shooting on September 22 and end on October 8.

No cast names have been revealed yet for the Warner Bros International TV Production, but there are rumours that celebrities from the Channel 10 version of Dancing with the Stars may appear.

Channel 10 bought the rights to the program and aired two seasons in 2019 and 2020 before Seven took the rights back. 

It’s also rumoured that singer Deni Hines will be the new season’s Wild Card. 

It hasn’t been confirmed if hosts Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger or judges Todd McKenney, Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson will be returning.

No premiere dates have been revealed either. 

Seven introduced an All-Stars edition of Dancing with the Stars in early 2021 after they bought the rights back from Ten. 

The previous season was shot in Sydney in March during a period where there were limited Covid infections being recorded.

It aired one month later in April, with Luke Jacobz being crowned the eventual winner of the series.
