The three-year-old showed off his early prowess on the hardwood as he impressively sunk three jumpshots in the short clip.

Adonis is already a shot caller as he confidently told his mother Sophie Brussaux ‘three times’ after sinking his first shot.

No doubt he had plenty of parental support as his dad Drake’s latest song What’s Next could be heard playing in the background as his mom cheered him on.

Drake previously kept son Adonis out of the public eye but opted to shared a slideshow of images of him last year on March 30, 2020.

The hitmaker revealed in the caption that he was pining for his family and friends during the COVID-19 lockdown. ‘

He wrote: ‘What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light. This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy.

Adding: ‘I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.’

Months later in May, Drake revealed why he decided to share pictures of his son for the first time.

He said: ‘I posted those pictures, it was great for me. It was great for me to just shared that with the world. It wasn’t even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned. I just woke up one morning, and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do,’ he said in an interview on Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne.

Adding: ‘I want to be able to go to places with my son and share memories with my son. I don’t want to feel like just because of a lief choice I made to be, you know, a “celebrity” that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. I just wanted to free myself of that.’

Back in October 2017 former adult film star Sophie gave birth to Adonis but Drake did not acknowledge the existence of his child until the release of his album Scorpion in late June 2018.

Drake’s rival Pusha T revealed news that he had a son; Pusha released his song The Story of Adidon where he showered Drake with insults, before dropping accusations of an illegitimate child with the former porn star as well as alleging that he had a child that he was refusing to acknowledge.

He raps: ‘You are hiding a child, let that boy come home,’ adding that Drake is playing ‘border patrol.’

In the song, he says: ‘Since you name-dropped my fiancée / Let ’em know who you chose as your Beyoncé / Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother / Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her.

A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap / We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts / You are hiding a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeat m******f****r playin’ border patrol.

‘Adonis is your son / And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real / Love that baby, respect that girl / Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world.’

The record executive also released artwork to go with his new single which appears to show the Canadian hitmaker in blackface wearing a Jim Crow t-shirt.

Posting the image on Twitter, Pusha said: ‘Please stop referring to this picture as ‘artwork’…I’m not an internet baby, I don’t edit images…this is a REAL picture…these are his truths, see for yourself.’

Drake responded taking to Instagram to share a lengthy statements soon after, in which he hit back at the resurfaced shot, insisting the shoot, taken during his acting days, was designed to highlight the struggle of African-American stars.

Drake finally confirmed rumors that he fathered a child with the former porn star in several songs on his 2018 album Scorpion.

Drake shared the first images of his son Adonis in late March, more than two years after his birth.

In his song Emotionless, the Toronto native raps: ‘I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid.’

In his song March 14, he raps: ‘She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine / Sandi used to tell me all it takes it one time, and all it took was one time,’ with Sandi referring to his mom Sandi.

He continued: ‘S**t, we only met two times, two times / I used to challenge my parents on every album / Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent / Always promised the family unit / I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it.’

Sophie, worked in the adult film business as Rosee Divine, but is now an artist. She gave birth to Drake’s son Adonis in 2017, with the boy sharing the rappers birthday, October 24.

Since his son’s existence became public knowledge, Drake has talked about wanting to be on good terms with Sophie, who he claimed to have only met twice before they conceived the child.

Speaking on LeBron James’ HBO show The Shop in October 2019, he said he was initially ‘scared’ to tell his mother about the situation, because he was never in a relationship with Sophie.

He said: ‘[I was] more scared to tell my mom because my mom has had real belief and real relationships with women in my life, like, over the course of my years.

‘I’m sure she would expect or be elated if I were to have gotten one of those women pregnant… So it was tough for me to tell her that it’s somebody that she’s never met.’

But the God’s Plan singer is ‘excited to be a great father’, and doesn’t want anyone to ‘be angry’ at Sophie.

He added: ‘All of the things I’ve learned from and through my father and the incredible things I’ve learned through my mother about patience, about unconditional love.

He added: ‘I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who… you know, we’ve had our moments, right?

‘And I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to, like, not love his mother… I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother.

‘We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible, and now I’m just really excited to be a great father.’
