Drew Barrymore accidentally sent a video of herself getting dressed to a 16-year-old boy

Drew Barrymore reveals she sent a ‘not sexy’ video of herself changing clothes to ‘best friend’ Cameron Diaz but it accidentally went to a 16-year-old boy

Drew Barrymore mistakenly sent a racy video clip to a teenage boy.

The 46-year-old actress intended to send a video of herself getting dressed to close pal Cameron Diaz, but it ended up going to a 16-year-old.

And she told guests Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough and co-host Ross Mathews on Wednesday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show that the teen kindly never shared the clip on social media which she is very grateful for.

Big mistake: Drew Barrymore recently revealed that she accidentally sent a video of herself getting dressed to a 16-year-old boy on Wednesday’s episode of her talk show

Barrymore explained that she had intended to send the video to her ‘best friend’ Cameron Diaz, although her message went to the wrong recipient.

She explained, ‘I sent it, turns out, to a sixteen-year-old boy named Matthew. Anyway, long story.’

The actress then noted that the clip was not meant to be titillating in the slightest, as she and Diaz are close enough to where putting on clothing is not a big deal between them.

‘And I’m only getting dressed and not being sexy… it’s because I was trying to multitask and she’s my best friend and we get dressed in front of each other all the time,’ she said.

The 50 First Dates star also expressed relief at the fact that Matthew was gracious enough not to share the clip although she didn’t consider it to be ‘sexy.’

Barrymore said: ‘He then wrote me back and was like, “I have your video but I promise I won’t like, put it out anywhere.”

‘Thank God for Matthew for being such a kind young gentleman not to put it out there in the world.’

Meanwhile, the E.T. star recently told Entertainment Tonight that she has never lied about her age as she doesn’t think she would be able to pass off as a younger individual.

She said: ‘I don’t think I could’ve gotten away with that. I never got to go on a blind date, and I never lied about my age … that is not something I ever got to do.’

The actress went on to remark that she prefers to live in the moment as opposed to savoring her earlier days.

‘I know that’s a boring answer, but it’s true. I think today is my best day so far…I am so proud of it because I’m so much calmer, wiser, smarter — and I’m still an idiot, and still have so much to learn,’ she said.
