The singer’s announcement comes just a day after it was revealed that her track Levitating was Billboard’s top song on the Hot 100 chart for all of 2021.

Dua Lipa celebrated the achievement by sharing several shots of the listing to her Instagram account on Thursday.

The performer also wrote a short message where she expressed that the involvement of her collaborators meant ‘the world to me.’

The singer recently spoke to Billboard and noted that the track had been produced with much difficulty as a result of the effects of COVID-19.

‘It’s nice after you work so hard, especially despite the pandemic, when you’ve got limited resources,’ she said.

Dua Lipa went on to express that she was especially surprised by the song’s success.

‘Levitating doing its thing on the Billboard chart is absolutely surreal. That song has been my baby for so long, and to have it out in the world, and for people’s response to be the way that it is, it’s just absolutely mind-blowing to me,’ she said.

She added: ‘I’m really, really, really grateful for it all.’
