Ed Sheeran was spotted watching his wife Cherry Seaborn play hockey alongside her Harleston Magpies teammates in the namesake Suffolk town on Saturday.

The singer, 30, kept out of the pouring rain from the comfort of his plush blue Bentley Bentayga, which sells for a whopping £200k.

Meanwhile his high school crush, 29, enjoyed her first hockey match since giving birth to their daughter Lyra last year.

Proving himself to be the devoted husband, the singer, who is worth an estimated £200m, watched on in-awe as the ladies stormed to victory against Trojans from Southampton.

He could be seen looking on in glee as Cherry took a penalty and scored a goal just in front of him, helping her team to win 3-0.

Cherry wore her luscious walnut locks in a high ponytail and showcased her enviable athletic figure in a white jersey and black shorts.

A keen hockey player, she recently returned to her old club which she represented at the age of 17, while holding the title of Female Young Player of the Year in 2009.

Cherry was selected for the England Under 21’s team in 2012 and helped to win the bronze medal at the European Championships.

‘Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.

‘We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here.

‘We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x.’

Back in October, a source revealed the news that the couple were expecting.

They told The Sun: ‘Ed and Cherry are over the moon. They’re very excited, but have kept things very low key.

‘Lockdown was a perfect excuse not to be seen out and about too much, but things are getting closer and the excitement has been building so they have started telling friends and family.

‘They’re just making the last of the preparations at home, and the baby is expected later this summer.

‘It’s a really happy time and their families are all totally delighted for them and cannot wait to meet the new arrival.’
