Stone’s recent credits include 2018’s The Favourite and 2019’s Zombieland: Double Tap as well as the 2018 Netflix series Maniac.

She had been due to reunite with her La La Land director Damien Chazelle for the Hollywood period piece Babylon opposite Brad Pitt.

But it was reported earlier this month that she had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict after the production was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Stone, of course, won a best actress Oscar for her performance in the 2017 musical movie opposite Ryan Gosling.

Family friendly: Stone's next movie release will be Disney's Cruella, a live action prequel to 101 Dalmatians. It's currently slated to premiere in May 2021
