Eva Longoria accepts CARE Impact Award with son Santi, 2, in her lap

Golden Globe nominee Eva Longoria Bastón was ‘really honored’ to accept her CARE Impact Award for Exceptional Activism on Wednesday night with her son Santiago Enrique resting in her lap.

The ‘Texican’ 45-year-old laughed as her two-year-old toddler exclaimed ‘Latino!’ while she was discussing how her eight-year-old foundation has helped the Latino community.

Little Santi is Eva’s first child from her four-year marriage to third husband, Televisa president José ‘Pepe’ Bastón.

It was CARE’s Global Advocate Iman who kicked off the third annual Impact Awards celebrating the empowerment of women and girls, and the eradication of global poverty.

‘As a refugee, I have been the beneficiary of the priceless help that NGOs like CARE offer,’ said the 65-year-old legendary supermodel, noting how the COVID-19 pandemic ‘deepended the work that CARE does.’

‘As a Somali immigrant and an American citizen, I am proud to help show the world how CARE embodies its name and puts it in action.’

Aside from being the widow of David Bowie, the make-up mogul is known for her motivational #imandaily quotes.
