The Scottish actor, 49, was dressed in character as Roy Halston Frowick, alongside Gilmore Girls actress Kelly Bishop, 76.

Ewan looked dapper in an all-black ensemble, featuring a thick black coat, black trousers, black shoes and black aviators.
He cut an imposing look as he walked along in a New York park, on a path littered with autumn leaves.
Kelly meanwhile looked incredibly chic in a retro cream suit, with a colourful neck-scarf and fur-lined burnt orange overcoat.

The Broadway legend accessorised her look with a 60s-style fern-coloured handbag and a brown fur hat, under which her brown curls magnificently burst out.
It is not know which character Kelly is playing but notable females in Halston’s life include Betty Ford, Jacqueline Kennedy and Lilly Daché.

Production on the forthcoming Netflix show began earlier this year, only to abruptly stop following the rapid global spread of COVID-19 in March.
As well as Ewan and Kelly, Rory Culkin is set to portray filmmaker Joel Schumacher.
The show follows Halston at various stages of his life, from aspiring designer to a celebrated fashion icon who attended A-List events with stars including Liza Minnelli.
The Netflix series is based upon Steven Gaines book Simply Halston: The Untold Story which was published in 1993.

Halston enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame in the 70s as he became the designer of choice, and confidante, to some of the most famous women in Hollywood.
The designer began his career in Chicago, and designed the pillbox hat that Jackie Kennedy wore during her husband’s inauguration in 1960.
Moving to New York in 1966, the designer made his first ready-to-wear line, which led to him becoming one of the country’s most influential fashion designers.
Halston passed away in 1990, aged 57, two years after testing positive for HIV.
