Ioana (pictured) has shared why she thinks people who keep adopting pets even though they complain about their family, kids and money are a big ‘red flag’ and many agree with her
‘You know what I feel like the biggest red flag is in human beings? It’s people who are constantly complaining that they can’t keep on top of like their family life, their kids,’ Ioana said in the TikTok clip.
‘They’re always complaining about money, they’re always broke, and somehow every single week without fail they have a brand new pet.’
She said she knows people with a collection of guinea pigs, snakes, dogs and cats.
‘Like no s*** you’re struggling Stacey, you keep adding elements to the mix,’ Ioana joked.

She said people who keep rescuing or buying animals despite not having enough money or time to care for them have ‘poor impulse control’
‘It always makes me feel bad for those animals too because a lot of the time they’re not well taken care of and to me it just signals poor impulse control that you have to just keep adding critters to the mix to deal with your stress,’ she said.
‘I just don’t feel like that’s a very healthy or sustainable way of dealing with your problems.’
Ioana admitted she dreams of owning a ‘compound with seven dogs’ one day so laughed she could be a red flag herself.
‘Is this too niche or do we all know these people??’ Ioana captioned the clip but viewers thought her hot take was ‘so true’.
‘I hope Stacy gets the help she needs,’ one quipped.
‘Wait how many of these people do you know??’ another asked to which Ioana replied: ‘At least a handful’.
‘Just one Guinea pig is a red flag though,’ a third wrote.
‘Would love to have more dogs but can’t afford them so I just love the two I got even more,’ someone commented.
