Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner developing a Captain America 4… with Chris Evans’ involvement or return unknown

There have been three solo Captain America films with Chris Evans playing the title character in each chapter, with the movie star also playing him in other Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

And it’s been reported that a Captain America 4 is in the works, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Malcom Spellman, the showrunner for the Disney +/Marvel series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is developing a fourth installment of the hit franchise.

Malcolm is the show creator and head writer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. 

The outlet reported that Malcolm will co-write the script with Dalan, Musson, a staff writer on Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Chris played Captain America/Steve Rogers in all three Captain America films: Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War.

He also reprised the role in the Avengers series and made appearances in other Marvel films.
