‘I never enjoyed Valentine’s Day. In fact, I would avoid Instagram all day as it actually made me sick of all the couples who are all in love… I know I’m in the category now, but allow me as I’m just celebrating the fact that I’ve got a boyfriend!

‘I know that these days can be really tough when you’re single, especially in lockdown when you’re feeling lonely, but hold faith.

‘Good times are coming your way. You can just imagine that every other singleton is going to be so excited to get out there again and just flirt, date, so yeah! I’m actually pretty jealous of you.’

‘I didn’t mean it like that! I just love that first date, it’s so exciting. So, screw Valentine’s Day!’ (sic)

Ferne ensured she didn’t leave out her daughter Sunday, three, on the special occasion as she shared a sweet photo of her ‘numero uno’ cradling her friend’s dog.

The doting parent – who has her child from a relationship with Arthur Collins – wrote: ‘No matter what, who or when this girl will always be my numero uno ❤️.

‘My number one Valentine. So here is a gorgeous pic of her and her best friend who we are so lucky to have stay with us throughout lockdown @carterchowchow. I’m pretty sure if I asked Sunday who her Valentine is for today she would say Carter.

‘Last night, in the middle of the night my alarm went off. I found Sunday at the bottom of the stairs with this little pink bun bun ”Mummy, I want to give this to Carter”. She loves this dog so much.

‘So whether it’s a dog, pet, husband, girlfriend, friend, someone who has passed or YOURSELF. Today should be filled with nothing but love. Happy Valentine’s Day darlings.’ (sic)

On the initiative, the TV star said: ‘We love pancakes in our house. When we got the call to have a go at a #TripleFlip we thought, why not!

‘It’s actually easier than you think and there’s the added bonus of showing off, passing on the fun and, if you’re up for it donating just a few pounds to a brilliant charity, FareShare.’
