Gary Numan rolls up in his custom CAT-themed Jeep with ex-groupie wife Gemma

Gary Numan and his wife Gemma were seen out and about on Wednesday in Los Angeles, heading to a meeting together.

And the pair – who have been married for 23 years and share three daughters – were sure to make an entrance, rolling up in Gary’s custom-made cat-themed Jeep.

The black motor turned heads, unmissable with its fur patterning, a claw slash painted on the door and a pair of cat’s eyes peering through.

Gary, 62, matched the car, stepping out of it in his typical all-black rock star look.

The British singer wore a fitted charcoal Tee with skinny black jeans and boots to match.

He accessorised with a black watch and necklace, beaded bracelets and shades.

Wife Gemma, 52, who was famously his groupie when they met three decades ago, wore a form-hugging striped dress in navy and white.

The pair featured two weeks ago on the UK’s Good Morning Britian, where they recalled the moment Gamma’s breasts ‘exploded’ during a camping trip.

The couple regaled the hosts of the daytime show with the tale, speaking from their home in the states.

‘We were on a caravan trip and I just got the stitches out, and I turned to the kids and it split!

‘It did look like a shark attack and Gary had to hold it together!’

‘I’ve not had much, I’ve had my hair done but it’s Gemma that’s getting [stuff done],’ he said, before adding: ‘Do you know what she was doing while we were waiting [to go on air]?

‘She was taking pictures of her nose because that’s the next thing!’

‘I was just a normal fan. My dad works at a record company. I met [Gary] when I was younger, when I was maybe 12, and then we would meet in air shows and take pictures together.

‘Then when my mum died in 92 that was when we started talking properly.’

Gary said: ‘Normally I’d see her at every gig and I asked her where she’s been and she said that something had happened to her mum, so we got to talking and it was more than just “can I have your autograph?”‘

Gemma famously told her teachers it didn’t matter if she passed any exams because her life path — arm in arm with her pop idol, a regular on Top Of The Pops — was already set. She wrote to Jim’ll Fix It asking if he could fix their wedding.
