Ahead of Sunday’s race, Christian took to social media after qualifying to reflect on his team’s performance.

‘We were denied a grandstand finish in the fight for pole position today, but we have to take the positives.

‘A front row for Max Verstappen, his first in Monaco, with his closest competitor in the Championship out of position on the grid marks a decent day at the office and puts us in a good position for tomorrow’s Monaco GP,’ he wrote.

A supportive wife, Geri told her own followers: ‘Hope you’re having a great weekend. I’m out in Monaco with Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner . Exciting stuff to watch the qualifying. Vroom vroom.’
