Dan Schnieder (Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, Victorious, Henry Danger) created the series, which ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012 spanning 95 episodes.

It doesn’t appear that Schneider will be involved with the reboot though, with Jay Kogen (School of Rock) and Ali Schouten (Diary of a Future President) coming aboard to develop the series.

There is no indication when production may begin, or when the streaming service may plan on airing the show.

The reboot news isn’t terribly surprising, since Viacom’s announcement that CBS All Access would be rebranded as Paramount + in 2021 hinted they’d be delving into Viacom’s library of shows and movies for new TV programming.

The streaming service already has a reboot of BET’s The Game in development, along with The Offer, a series that offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of the 1972 film classic The Godfather.

They also announced in October that a TV series reboot of the hit 1983 movie Flashdance was in development.
