Ivanka Trump models pink mini dress to attend Louis Vuitton fashion show

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner made an incredibly stylish return to A-list society on Tuesday evening, when they joined the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at a star-studded Louis Vuitton fashion show, held to honor the brand’s late designer Virgil Abloh.

The former senior White House advisors, who have kept a relatively low public profile since former President Donald Trump‘s exit from Washington, D.C. and their subsequent move to Miami, Florida, arrived at the event in style, aboard a small motor boat called ‘It was all a dream’.

Ivanka, 40, paid homage to Abloh – who passed away on Sunday at the age of 41 after a two-year battle with a rare form of cancer – by donning a $3,450 neon pink mini dress from his latest womenswear collection, which she paired with some dark sunglasses and a pair of white pointed-toe pumps.

Her blonde locks were pulled back into a chic low bun, and she accessorized with a pair of pearl stud earrings to match the white piping and Vuitton logo on her dress.

Meanwhile Jared, also 40, donned an all-black ensemble for the star-studded soiree, pairing a long-sleeved sweater with a pair of black jeans and black leather sneakers. Like his wife, he also sported a pair of sunglasses for the boat ride, which transported the couple out to the Miami Marine Stadium, where the event took place.

Both Ivanka and Jared were seen smiling happily during the brief boat ride, before disembarking the vessel to join the crowds of people in attendance at the fashion show – which was entitled ‘Virgil Was Here’ and paid tribute to ‘the life and legacy of a creative genius with a presentation of his Spring-Summer 2022 collection’, thought to be his final designs for the brand.

The boats were organized by Louis Vuitton to whisk its celebrity guests to the event, and they each featured the brand’s logo prominently on the side, alongside the number 7.2 – meant to signify the fact that the show was a repeat of Abloh’s seventh runway event for the fashion label.

Ivanka and Jared’s boat also had a supply of towels with the number embroidered on them, alongside an illustration of a paper airplane.

Although the couple have shied away from the spotlight since moving to Miami in January, they seemed very much at ease during the high-profile event – one of the first they have attended in the past year.

Social media images taken during the event and posted on Instagram show Ivanka and Jared mingling happily with their fellow guests, while also taking time to pose for a candid snap on the pier, posing with their arms around one another and drinks in their hands.

However, Ivanka did not share the image on her social media accounts, which have remained inactive since May 5, when she posted a photo of herself receiving her second dose of the COVID vaccine in a CVS in Miami.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ivanka and Jared were given the A-list treatment at the fashion show, where they reportedly had seats reserved on the front row, where Kim, Kanye, and Pharrell Williams were also seated.

Although the couple has not attended a fashion-focused event in several years now, Ivanka has a long-standing connection with Louis Vuitton’s parent company, LVMH.

In October 2019, the former First Daughter and her husband joined then-President Trump at the opening of Louis Vuitton’s factory in Alvarado, Texas, where they joined LVMH’s chief executive Bernard Arnault for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

While the couple was living in New York City, Ivanka was a regular on the fashion circuit, making numerous appearances at Fashion Week, while she and Jared also attended the Met Gala on several occasions.

However, since moving to Miami, the mother-of-three has reportedly been ‘focusing on family time’ and getting her children – daughter Arabella, 10, and sons Joseph, eight, and Theodore, five – settled into their new life in the Sunshine State.

Instead of being pictured attending high-profile events, the couple have instead been snapped on a handful of occasions enjoying outings with their kids, including a trip to a local go-kart track earlier this month, where they were seen racing alongside Arabella and several other young children.

A few weeks earlier, Ivanka was also seen visiting a local Jewish food bank in Miami with her son Joseph, with images showing the former First Daughter dropping off supplies before driving herself home to the family’s seafront apartment, which is located in the luxury Arte Surfside building.

Ivanka converted to Judaism to marry her husband Jared, who is a Modern Orthodox Jew. They are raising their three children in the same faith.

All of the kids are currently enrolled in a local Jewish school in Miami that is located just a short distance from their home in Arte Surfside.

The property is one of the most expensive complexes in the neighborhood, with an average rental price of nearly $47,000 per month. Its penthouse sold for $33 million to an unnamed private equity executive from New York in January of this year — the same month that Ivanka and her family moved into the building.

The Kushner family is said to be using the large, unfurnished unit as a temporary home while they build a property on a two-acre plot they purchased on Indian Creek Island — also known as the ‘Billionaire Bunker’ — for $31.8 million late last year.

They also scooped up an additional $24 million mansion just a few blocks away, which they are reported to have bought in April, according to the real estate website The Real Deal.

The couple’s alleged new property splurge features six bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, and was once owned by Spanish singer Julio Iglesias.

The 8,510-square-foot French neo-classical residence sits on 1.26 acres and is equipped with 26-feet-high domed ceilings, a grand double staircase, open entertaining areas, a large family and screening room, a wood-paneled office, a large gym, and a huge master bedroom with two full bathrooms.

It also boasts manicured gardens, reflecting pools, a resort-style swimming pool, and a large dock, although aerial images of the mansion suggest that it will require some extensive maintenance before it is ready to live in after having fallen into disrepair while on the market.

Until it is fixed up, Ivanka and Jared will likely remain in their Arte Surfside condo that is located just two blocks away from the collapsed Champlain Towers South Condo, which crumbled in a devastating accident in June, leaving nearly 100 people dead.
