Jackson Warne is ordered to ‘f**k off’ by a furious Ant Middleton on SAS Australia

‘He doesn’t deserve to be here’: Jackson Warne is ordered to ‘f**k off’ by a furious Ant Middleton after refusing to submerge himself in freezing cold water during a drown proofing exercise on SAS Australia

Jackson Warne left the DS (directing staff) doubting his place on the show during Monday’s episode of SAS Australia.

The 21-year-old hesitated to jump into a water tank for a drown proofing exercise, before then refusing to submerge himself in the freezing cold water.

‘You’ve got this. Do not f**k this up. Let’s get this f**king done,’ chief instructor Ant Middleton told a stoic Jackson before the exercise.

After positioning a bound Jackson on the edge of the water tank, Ant then ordered him to jump off into the water.

But Jackson froze in place, staring silently at the surface of the water, with Ant repeatedly screaming at him to jump.

Finally, he mustered up the courage to jump into the tank, but then refused to submerge himself more than once.

‘The hardest thing for me on this course is going to be the cold water, the stress and how your body reacts to that,’ Jackson confessed.

He then recounted an incident where he’d been in the ocean as the waves ‘kept dunking me’ and said he ‘couldn’t get a catch of breath’.

‘Stop f**king around! Calm down! Calm yourself down, number three. Down! Down!’ shouted a furious Ant.

As it became increasingly evident that Jackson wasn’t going to submerge himself under the water, Ant ordered him to get out before risking hypothermia.

‘F**k off,’ Ant told him, after angrily removing the binds from his wrists.

‘The majority of people, they’re just not built psychologically or physically for this course,’ Ant later said.

Later discussing the remaining recruits, the DS all agreed that Jackson shouldn’t be on the course.

‘He doesn’t deserve to be here. He hasn’t put any blood, sweat or tears into this,’ said DS Jason Fox, as the others nodded in agreement.

They then devised a plan to put the remaining recruits through a series of punishing exercises, in the hope it would eliminate any ‘weak’ links.
