Jameela Jamil showcases her cool style in a black leather jacket as she arrives at a hotel in SoHo
Jameela Jamil has been out on the promotional trail in New York City this past week talking about her new podcast Bad Dates.
Along the way she’s also been getting the word out about her mental health movement and podcast, I Weigh, which focuses on women’s accomplishments, body positivity, activism and racial inclusivity.
By the time the weekend arrived, the British actress, 37, and television personality was spotted making her way to the Crosby Hotel, that’s situated on a quiet cobbled street in the heart of Downtown Manhattan’s vibrant SoHo neighborhood.
With a chill in the air and the temperature hovering in the 40s Fahrenheit, the Poker Face actress decided to coverup in a black leather jacket, for which she wore over a matching top and stylish flared pants.
Jamil also donned cool, round sunglasses while she was outside gathering her luggage, with help of others, to be brought inside to her hotel room.

Rounding out her overall look for the day, she had her dark tresses flowing with plenty of natural waves and curls and a center part.
The London, England native also could be seen carrying a box containing a microphone, which likely will be used for her two podcasts, when she was making her way towards the entrance doors.
While Jamil and her longtime beau, musician James Blake, are surprisingly open with their romance, attending events together, on this day she appeared to be going solo.
In the early afternoon, the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law actress took to her Instagram page to share a series of snaps of herself striking a few playful poses decked in three different ensembles.
While leaning up against a series of tall windows, which gave a view of the nearby tall building, she first wore a very stylish pink robe that was tied at the waist with a belt-in belt and matching sunglasses.
By lifting up her left leg with a big beaming smile on her face, Jamil showcased a pair of tan boots that went up past her knees.
‘SWIPE!!!’ she announced to her 3.7 million fans and followers in the caption.
Upon swiping, The Good Place star could be seen leaning back against another area of the high windows, giving followers a look at the bustling streets down below, decked out in a shiny pink duster coat that was also tied at the waist with a built-in belt.

Swiping one more time, Jamil can be seen wearing a tan robe and those tan boots combination, while posing in the initial spot against the high windows.

She ended the post by recognizing her glam team, writing, ‘Shout out to her assistant @ashleyafriyie and my hair goddess @thenicoleblais,’ along with a red heart emoji.
Hours laters, in the early evening, Jamil opened up about her time in New York City on her Instagram Stories.
‘Walked a lot in the past 4 days and my mental health felt amazing, but today my EDS tapped my on the shoulder and told me to lie the f**k down,’ she wrote. ‘The choice between your body and your brain is frustrating #ehlersdanlossyndrome
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), for which there are many different types, is a hereditary connective tissue disorder. It is caused by genetic changes that affect the connective tissue that stabilize and support the joints and organs throughout the body, according to the Bobby Jones CSF website.

The previous day, she took to social media to assess her time making the rounds on talk shows like New York Live, the Today show and The View.
‘Well it was quite a week of press wasn’t it? I went viral three times for making every live interview I did go off the rails. It was so fun. All the hosts were so fun. I’m bored of polished, smiley, media trained interviews, MAKE AMERICA CHAOTIC AGAIN am I right?’ she shared, before slipping back into promo mode.
‘My new podcast Bad Dates is out now on subscription, first episode with CONAN O BRIEN!!! and it’s out for free on Monday. I hope you love it. The feedback from those of you who have subscribed has been amazing, and I thank you. It’s nice for me to have a space where I’m just a goofball with other goofballs,’ she wrote in the caption.
