He’s going: James Corden celebrated the end of Trump’s presidency on Tuesday night with a new musical sketch on The Late Late Show
The opening of the sketch saw Corden entering his office, joyfully singing: ‘One day more/The final day of Trump as President. The White House has a brand new resident/It’s been four years of endless crimes/But now he’s finally out of time.’
Musical theatre actors Chris Weller, Racehel Yonda, Amy Lee-Suits and Rob Engalla, are then seen on TV screens as anxious news anchors, concerned the president will not go quietly before Joe Biden’s inauguration.
‘What a year this month has been/We’ll be in the parking lot/At Four Seasons Landscaping,’ they sing, referring to the infamous press conference mixup at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping rather than the Four Seasons hotel.

As Corden is seen clearing his office of Trump magazines and paperwork, he belts out: ‘No more days of angry tweets, cause it’s time he’s gone for good.
‘Cuz this time he’s banned for good)/ Ship him off to Mar-a-Lago (Do they even want him there?)/ Biden better change the sheets (Maybe throw away the bed)/ Will you change the locks with me?’
Pattie LuPone and Matt Lucas are then seen dressed as MAGA supporters and singing about gun rights and not wearing face masks, including the lyrics:
