Jen Shah reveals husband Sharieff called divorce lawyers over her toxic behavior

Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah reveals that her husband Sharrieff Shah almost got divorced, months before her arrest for allegedly defrauding people of millions.

Shah got very real about her 26-year marriage in a bombshell new clip from the season two premiere, telling co-star Lisa Barlow how her husband hit his ‘final breaking point’ because of her anger issues, which were on display several times during season one.

Things got so bad, Sharrieff even reached out to a divorce attorney, leaving Jen ‘devastated.’

Months later, the star became embroiled in more drama when she was arrested in March over accusations she was guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and money laundering following a nearly decade long, multi-million dollar business scheme.

Even before her criminal case, Shah was hurting.

Jen admitted that the ‘last six months’ had been ‘really hard’ while having Lisa over to tour her new house, dubbed Shah Chalet 2.0.

‘I’m doing OK now. I didn’t know I would be OK,’ she went on. ‘I thought my entire world was ending.’

It turns out the reality star and her college football coach husband had been having marriage troubles.

‘Six months ago, Sharrieff and I almost got a divorce,’ she said, dropping a bombshell. ‘Lisa, I thought my life was, like, over.’

The tension stemmed from Jen’s explosive temper, which made her husband feel helpless.

She explained: ‘Sharrieff felt like he wasn’t being a positive influence in my life, like he couldn’t help me.’

‘What I didn’t realize was how I was acting, and because I hadn’t fully told him how I was feeling, it made him feel like he was the problem,’ she told Lisa. ‘And so, he was like, “OK, I have to leave.”‘

Looking back, she says she didn’t realize how serious things had gotten, telling Lisa ”At first I thought, “OK, this is just an argument.”

But Jen was in for a shock the next day, when she was contacted by lawyers.

‘And the next day, a divorce attorney contacted me. He had already reached out to a divorce attorney. And Lisa, I was devastated.’

In a confessional, Shah continued to explain her marriage dynamic, saying: ‘Coach and I have had fights before… but this is the first time he’s ever said “I am leaving you.”
