The impressive oceanfront mansion built by former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall more than a decade ago has found a buyer.

The three-storey home, in the exclusive gated community of Windy Dropdown in North Curl Curl on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, was listed last month with a price guide of $7.5million to $8million.

The property has now been sold for an undisclosed price to ‘a local family who were upsizing and fell in love with the home’, reports realestate.com.au

The renovation was a labour of love for the former beauty queen, 37, who bought the block with Jake in 2009 for $1.1million.

The couple worked with architect Koichi Takada over three years to create a stunning home that complemented its surroundings, then sold it to mining CEO Elizabeth Gaines and her husband Kevin Manuel for $4.1million in 2014.

Ms Gaines and Mr Manuel went on to sell the property for $5.2million in 2017.

The ground floor features a bright and airy foyer with a tucked-away laundry room, a dedicated media room, and a four-car garage.

The property-developing couple have amassed an impressive real estate portfolio that has taken their net worth to more than $60million, according to New Idea.

Perhaps their most important sale came in June last year, when Jennifer and Jake sold their Newport mansion, known as Casa Paloma, for a record $24.5million.

Their most recent purchase is a $6.9million pad on the Northern Beaches, which they plan to turn into a modern estate with designer gardens, an infinity pool and a four-car garage.
