Jess Eva reveals the REVOLTING thing she returned home with after her stint on I’m A Celebrity that forced her to rush to the doctors when the pain became unbearable
Radio host Jess Eva finished filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last month.
But it wasn’t until recently that she realised she brought home with her a truly revolting souvenir from the jungle – bugs inside her ear.
On Friday, the 48-year-old revealed on Triple M’s Moonman in the Morning that she had an uncomfortable sensation in her ear that led to significant hearing loss after the show.
Gross! On Friday, Triple M radio presenter Jess Eva revealed the REVOLTING thing she returned home with after her time in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
‘When I was in the jungle, my ears started to hurt and I went to the medic… and then over time it got worse and worse, to the point where I couldn’t sleep,’ she said.
Her co-host, Chris Page, asked if it was the result of challenge where she had to put her head in a box filled with bugs, but Jess suspected it came from the ‘manky lake’ she and the other celebrities swam in.
She explained that she could hear ringing and felt pressure inside her ear, adding: ‘Whatever was in there was already dead, but it was getting worse and worse.’

To help alleviate the pain, Jess visited her doctor on Wednesday and had both ears checked and flushed out.
After the irrigation procedure, she said ‘little bugs with wings’ flowed out.
‘I don’t know what they are… same type of bugs in both ears and that was scary,’ she added.

Co-host Lawrence Mooney joked that Jess was ‘vile,’ and added: ‘Your personal hygiene has always been in question, but this just is the icing on the cake.’
In defense, Jess hit back, saying: ‘You can’t help what crawls inside you.’
‘It’s not like I’ve got gates in there. It’s an open hole, anything can get in there at any time and may that be the warning for the rest of us,’ she cautioned.
