Jessica Alba pairs stylish white coat with yellow blouse and purple skirt as she leaves office building in LA
She revealed last month that she had been very sick as a child and required several surgeries before the age of 11.
But Jessica Alba has taken adversity in her stride and gone on not only to be a successful Hollywood actress but also a multi-millionaire businesswoman.
On Thursday, the busy 39-year-old was seen leaving an office building in LA in a stylish white coat and white trainers.

Alba wore her coat over a colorful ensemble of a sunflower yellow blouse and calf-length shiny purple skirt.
Her long dark hair was loose and she accessorized with gold earrings and covered up with a black and white patterned face mask.
She carried a large patterned tote, a white purse and a blue reusable water jug and was followed out the door by a camera crew.

In March, the mom of three told Romper that she was often in hospital growing up due to chronic illness.
‘I had five surgeries before I was 11 years old. I had chronic allergies, and I was hospitalized a lot as a child,’ she explained.
That experience made her determined to focus on raising her own children when she became a mother despite her high Hollywood profile.

She was ‘at the top’ of her career when she gave birth to her first child, daughter Honor, now 12, whom she shares with husband Cash Warren.
The couple, who wed in 2008, have gone on to add two more to their family – daughter Haven, nine, and son Hayes, three.
‘I had this real moment of, I want to live, and thrive, and spend as much time with this little person that I’m bringing into the world as possible,’ Alba said in her interview with Romper.
‘So, my health matters. I want this little person to be healthy. And it’s really freaking hard to be happy when you don’t have your health,’ she said.

In 2012, Alba launched The Honest Company, a brand that specializes in eco-conscious products.
She said: ‘Building a brand and building a business is f***** impossible. And to be good at it and for it to thrive and scale, it is really hard. If anything, I was like, ‘Do I really want to do this?’
She went on: ‘It took me three-and-a-half years just to find partners to even join me, and I got lots of rejection. I had to learn how to build decks.
‘In every stage, I’m trying to get better and better as a business person, but it’s a totally different skill set than just taking your influence and fame and putting your name on a package and doing a press tour, picking out a couple designs.’
