Jimmy Carr cuts a casual figure while pushing a pram during low-key stroll as he’s seen for the first time since 8 out of 10 co-star Sean Lock’s death

Jimmy Carr was seen pushing a pram in London on Thursday, as he was pictured publicly for the first time since his 8 out of 10 co-star Sean Lock’s death.

Sean, best known as a team captain on Jimmy’s popular Channel 4 comedy panel show, passed away last month aged 58 following a secret battle with cancer.

And Jimmy, 48, who has never confirmed having children with long-term partner Karoline Copping, cut a casual figure as he walked with the pram while sporting a stern expression.

The comedian looked cosy in a navy zip-up sweater worn over a denim shirt and white T-shirt.

Jimmy teamed his look with light brown combat trousers and blue slip-on shoes as he made his way around the streets before heading to a nearby park.

The star has been pictured with a pram on several occasions since January 2020. No further details are known.

Jimmy has been in a relationship with Channel 5 commissioning editor Karoline Copping since 2001 after meeting her at an audition.

In March 2017, he told Radio 4’s Desert Island discs that his girlfriend’s first impression of him was ‘one-note comedian with the eyes of a sex offender’.

The star said that even though Karoline wasn’t immediately taken with him, he was instantly smitten, saying: ‘I knew. It felt perfect.’

Last month, the TV star led the tributes to Sean following the announcement of his death, saying it was ‘brutal news’ and that he was ‘laughing and crying’ while watching clips of Lock.

‘Sean was one of Britain’s finest comedians, his boundless creativity, lightning wit and the absurdist brilliance of his work, marked him out as a unique voice in British comedy.

‘Sean was also a cherished husband and father to three children. Sean will be sorely missed by all that knew him. We kindly request that the privacy of his family and children is respected at this difficult time.’
