Jodie said: ‘So I kind of wanted to lose weight but when the pandemic started, that was not a thought at all.’

Adding: ‘But it suddenly became a focus. It became as I was losing weight I was like “Oh my gosh” and I realized how much my mind started really focusing on food and this and that. And I really had to stop and get down in terms of sobriety and principles of 12 steps. Like what am I not feeling in control over? Nothing! I felt control of nothing.’

Jodie said: ‘So it was one thing and I had to really look at that and it caused me to go back and look at that in different periods of my life and realize that I had had food issues. I was always like nah food is never my thing but I realized it was these little intermittent bouts of food control. And stress control,’ the Full House star explained.

The former child star revealed during the pandemic she was completely nauseous  ‘at the sight of food, the smell of food, pictures of food made me sick, and I was getting sick a lot,’ adding that she could hardly keep anything down and didn’t want food and that it was ‘disgusting.’

She felt like her mind viewed food as the ‘enemy’ and she thought about not eating and eating and that it would make her nauseous if she ate.
