She continued: ‘But aside from that I love, I don’t know. I mean I feel like it’s such a binary question in a way, you know?

‘I feel like whatever being a woman means to me can mean something totally different to someone else. But I think that, I don’t know, it’s pretty cool that we can make babies and stuff.’

The actress also shared: ‘Glamour to me is just whatever makes you feel confident. It’s whatever you think glamour is.’

Said she: ‘There’s so many different types of personalities out there and so many different types of beauty trends, and so when you marry what makes you happy with whatever you define glamour as that is what glamour is to me.’

Joey wrapped up: ‘So my version of glamour is mixing my favorite trends out there with my own style which is making sure I’m comfortable and cozy.’

She spilled: ‘My best secret to feeling glamorous on the red carpet and feeling confident is – I have a lot of insecurities as a lot of people do but – making sure that whatever I’m wearing either compliments me in a way that I don’t feel like my insecurities are just like overpowering me.’

Joey shared that she also makes a point of ‘just kinda practicing my poses, which sounds weird, before I get on the carpet just so I know what the outfit’s gonna look like. I feel like that’s a weird answer but whatever, it’s true.’

In her magazine profile she noted that the coronavirus pandemic has instilled a greater appreciation for the people closest to her.

‘I would say that I appreciate life in general much more. Quality time with my family, my health and that of my loved ones. It feels like a generic thing to say but, well, it’s true. I learned that nothing is safe, so keep close to the people you love,’ she said.

Over the course of her interview she also laid out a few of her professional ambitions including a hope of working with Quentin Tarantino on his next and last film.

Her wish list of directors also includes Chloe Zhao of Nomadland fame as well as David Fincher whose next project is called The Killer.

She dished in the print interview that she would like to act alongside LaKeith Stanfield and Julia Garner, adding in the video that she would ‘love to work with’ the ‘incredible’ Israeli actress Shira Haas who stars on the Netflix show Unorthodox.
