Kate Hudson slips into string bikini for a family cruise in the Aegean Sea during Greece trip

Another day, another bikini for Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson as she continued her family vacation on the Grecian isle of Skiathos on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old mother-of-three flaunted her yoga-toned 5ft6in figure in a brown-striped string two-piece as she hit the beach with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, 35, mother Goldie Hawn, 75, and her mother’s partner Kurt Russell, 70, whom she affectionately calls ‘Pa’. 

Kate was also joined by her ex fiancé Matt Bellamy, 43, and his wife Elle, 31, for the outing. The former couple have a son, Bingham, nine, who also headed to the beach for the fun day out. 

Kate and Muse frontman Matt have remained the friendliest of exes since they split in 2014, after a four-year relationship. The former couple celebrated their son Bingham’s birthday together last July.  

During the beach outing, Kate shielded her eyes from the sun with mirrored sunglasses and wore a curious sparkler on her left ring finger. 

Hudson has not announced an engagement to Lightwave Records co-founder Danny, whom she first met in 2002 through his stepsisters Erin & Sara Foster and have a daughter, Rani, two. 

But the Music star – who was married and pregnant at the time – didn’t go on her official first date with her babydaddy until December 3, 2016.

Danny showcased his tattooed chest in bright blue swim trunks and he shielded his face with sunglasses and a grey baseball hat.

It was the first trip since March 2020 for Kate, who later donned a white lacy cover-up over her sexy swimwear.      

Matt’s actress wife Elle donned a cat print bikini and a straw hat. The musician, meanwhile, relaxed on a sun lounger in a pair of blue shorts. 

Kate’s mother Goldie Hawn was on grandma duty babysitting Hudson and Fujikawa’s daughter Rani Rose alongside his mother Melissa Linehan.

The Oscar winner – wearing a purple one-piece swimsuit – had some one-on-one bonding time on the beach with the former Chief guitarist.

Goldie then shielded her complexion with a white visor as she hydrated on a sun lounger.

Later, the Fabletics founder strapped little Rani into a life vest as they boarded a boat for a family cruise.    

Hawn’s partner of 38 years, Kurt, beamed as he took the wheel to drive the vessel through the Aegean Sea.

The Emmy nominee famously starred in Thom Eberhardt’s 1992 Martin Short comedy Captain Ron where he got to man a 60ft yacht.

It’s hard to believe Kurt first met the D.C.-born blonde way back in 1967 on the set of Disney musical – The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band.

Kate’s family sighting came the day before she unveiled the first trailer for the second season of true-crime podcast drama Truth Be Told, which premieres August 20 on Apple TV+. 

Hudson – who boasts 15M Instagram/Facebook followers – captioned her post: ‘Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.’

In it, the Almost Famous alum plays lifestyle guru Micah Keith, who discovers her husband has been murdered under mysterious circumstances.

‘Poppy, I need you to help me,’ Micah pleads with investigative reporter-turned-podcaster Poppy Parnell (Oscar winner Octavia Spencer). ‘I want to know who murdered my husband.’ 

The talented twosome – who just wrapped season two on May 6 – play childhood friends who reunite amid the tragic scandal. 

Kate got to Greece early ahead of the summer start of production on the Netflix sequel Knives Out 2.

On May 20, Hudson scored a mystery role in the 2022 whodunnit which, once again, will be helmed by Rian Johnson and star Daniel Craig as the Southern private detective Benoit Blanc.

The Los Angeles native was cast alongside Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, and Edward Norton. 

‘In my mind, I don’t even think of it in terms of like a sequel,’ the 47-year-old filmmaker told SiriusXM last year. 

‘To me it’s just, ever since we started working on this I was like, “Look, if we can keep this going, the same way Agatha Christie wrote a bunch of Poirot novels. I mean, do that with Blanc and keep making more mysteries.”

‘Whole new cast, whole new location, whole new mystery. It’s just another Benoit Blanc mystery and it seems like there’s just so many different things you can do with it, you know? It seems like it’d be really fun.’

Rian’s 2019 original film amassed $311.4M at the global box office and holds an impressive certified fresh 97% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

And on April 25, Kate wrapped her role as creative writing professor Simone Cleary in Michael Maren’s comedy Shriver alongside Jimmi Simpson, Zach Braff, and Michael Shannon.
