Katherine Schwarzenegger dons a Lyla Marie necklace in tribute to her baby daughter during solo stroll

Katherine Schwarzenegger has been busy learning about motherhood since welcomed her first child in August.

And while the new mom indulged in some solo time on Wednesday, the author still had her mind on her little girl.

Keeping her daughter close to her heart, Katherine, 30, wore a gold nameplate necklace that read ‘Lyla Maria’ while walking around Santa Monica.

The wife of Chris Pratt was dressed casually for her stroll, clad in a white longsleeve tee shirt and dark leggings. For her exercise outing Katherine put on classic white sneakers.

She covered up her face with a mask and dark sunglasses. Her other necklace was a relief-style pendant of the Virgin Mary.

Katherine – the daughter of actor/politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist/Kennedy Maria Shriver – kept her Airpods in, keeping up a brisk pace while making her way around their upscale neighborhood.

That same day the writer of The Gift of Forgiveness reposted an Instagram from former Vice President Joe Biden, telling voters to ‘Keep up the faith’ as the nail-biting results of the US Presidential election continue to roll in.

Katherine – whose father was the Republican Governor Of California from 2003 to 2011 – publicly endorsed Biden early last month.

Citing just one of President Trump’s controversies, she referenced his October 5th tweet that said: ‘Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.’

In her reply, Katherine wrote: ‘If that tweet itself is not enough to get you fired up to want to elect Biden and get rid of Trump as president of our country, then I don’t know what is.’

‘That’s the sickest tweet I’ve ever seen. Please vote,’ she said, per Yahoo.

Katherine, who grew up in a bipartisan household and whose actor husband is known for his conservative views, went on: ‘I’ve also always been somebody who is super respectful of people’s choices to support whoever they want to support, especially politically.

‘I grew up in a family with different political views, so I’m very used to that and I’m also very respectful of it.’

‘But I’m actually at a point now where if I think that I am interacting with anybody who supports a man who tweets that when there are people who have lost loved ones and who are really sick and people who are still dying because of COVID, then I just don’t really know how I can understand how you can support an individual like that. So, get thinking people.’
