Katie Price claimed she had been sober for four months during an interview back in February – seven months before her drink and drug-fuelled car crash.
The glamour model, 43, is facing jail after pleading guilty to a slew of motoring offences and has checked into The Priory rehabilitation clinic to treat her drink and drug problems.
During the chat on FUBAR Radio, Katie proudly spoke about her recovery following her last stint in rehab in October last year and told how she was a ‘completely different person now’.

Katie also reflected on being ’embarrassed at how she had acted’ in the past and said she took cocaine to ‘self medicate’.
Speaking in February this year she said: ‘Since I’ve been out of The Priory, I have not drunk nothing.
‘And now I’ve forgotten what it’s like to drink, and that’s not like me because I’m quite sociable and stuff.
‘And then obviously I was into the coke because I was self-medicating.
Accident: In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Katie crashed her BMW while double the drink-drive limit after leaving her home to allegedly hunt for drugs during an all-night alcohol and cocaine bender which came after she rowed with fiancé Carl Woods
‘When I look at it all now I’m like, oh my God, I’m a completely different person now. What the hell?
‘I’m actually embarrassed at how I’ve acted and stuff, but you know, that’s part and part of mental health. You can’t help it.’
Last October, Katie filmed herself in her room at the rehab facility and said: ‘My name’s Katie Price. I’ve decided to check in as an inpatient. I think this is something that has been brewing for a while. There’s only so much I can take as a human being.
‘Everything just got to me. The only reason I’m sitting here now is because of my children. I’ve been to hell and back, but I’m starting to feel like me again.’
Getting help: Katie was pictured in the passenger seat near The Priory rehab clinic on Thursday after flipping her car near her Sussex home before dawn after an all-night bender
Prior to her October 2020 stay at The Priory, Katie was spotted outside the rehabilitation centre in February 2020, following a host of rehab stints over the past few years in the wake of legal issues and substance abuse.
Before her 2020 and 2021 visits to The Priory, Katie last visited the facility in September 2018 when she spent 28 days as an inpatient after her family urged her to seek help following wild partying antics in Mallorca.
At the time, she was confronted by her loved ones after shocking footage emerged of her rapping ‘I love coke’ during a booze-fuelled hen do.
Katie broke down after the intervention and admitted she needed help to get over her chaotic behaviour, which she blamed on her PTSD.

She then admitted charges of drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday afternoon.
Worrying: Katie, covered with a blanket, leaves Crawley Magistrates’ Court in West Sussex on Wednesday
She could face prison after being charged with driving while unfit to drive through drink, using a motor vehicle on a public place without third-party insurance and driving while disqualified.
Katie was told that her sentencing had been deferred for 11 weeks until December 15 to allow her to have treatment at The Priory and speak to the probation service.
Chair of the bench Julie Hutton told her she could leave but warned her against driving in the interim, saying: ‘You are free to go and good luck at the Priory.’
