EXCLUSIVE: Kerri-Anne Kennerley stuns in a red gown as she returns to Studio 10 to celebrate the show’s 2000th episode with Joe Hildebrand

Kerri-Anne Kennerley looked every bit the glamorous TV star when she stepped out to film for Studio 10’s 2000th episode in Sydney on Monday.

The 67-year-old former Studio 10 host was invited back along with her former colleague, Joe Hildebrand, with both having left the Network 10 talk show last year.

Kerri-Anne looked stunning in a floor-length red gown with a sweeping skirt, low-cut back and V-neckline.

The elaborate dress featured cape-style sleeves, and she paired it with sky-high platform stilettos.

Her shoulder-length blonde hair was styled in loose waves and she was heavily made up for TV.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, Kerri-Anne shared a photo of herself sitting alongside Joe, 45, on set.

‘Always a laugh with my mate the mad @joe_hildebrand,’ she captioned the photo.

It was announced last month that Kerri-Anne and Joe would be returning to Studio 10 alongside other former hosts as the show celebrated its 2000th episode.

Kerri-Anne was made redundant in August last year, when Channel 10 let go of 25 staffers in a bid to reduce spending during the COVID-19 recession.

Regarding her exit from Channel 10, a spokesperson for the Logie winner said at the time that she was ‘disappointed’ to be leaving the network.

‘Kerri-Anne’s role on Studio 10 was only part-time two or three days a week,’ her manager said in a statement.

‘Nevertheless she is disappointed to be finishing up in September but understands the financial pressures on the network. She wishes everyone at Network 10 the best.’

Meanwhile, Joe bid farewell to Studio 10 in September after seven years as a panellist on the morning show.

Announcing his departure on live TV, Joe broke down in tears as he revealed he had come to the difficult decision.

‘I am leaving Studio 10. I have given it a huge amount of thought. It’s been really hard, but also really lovely to be able to look back on all the things we have done,’ he said at the time.
