KIIS FM radio host Polly ‘PJ’ Harding announces she is engaged to her low-profile boyfriend after more than two years of long-distance dating

Polly ‘PJ’ Harding, who hosts KIIS FM’s Melbourne breakfast show Jase & PJ, is engaged to her boyfriend, who is known only as ‘Beej’.

The radio presenter, 30, announced the news on Monday, sharing a photo to Instagram of the couple at the beach as she flaunted her diamond ring.

‘22.12.20 – a day he may not remember but a day I’ll never forget,’ she captioned the picture.

While not much is known about ‘Beej’ and she has not tagged him in any of her posts, Polly revealed in April they had been dating for ‘just over two years’ 

‘For those who don’t know I have been in a long-distance relationship between Australia and New Zealand for just over two years,’ she wrote in a blog.

‘So I guess you could say I was doing the long-distance before it went mainstream and coronavirus pushed couples apart.’

Polly went on to offer advice for other people in similar relationships.

‘I asked my boyfriend before writing this what his advice would be and he said, “You need to like them,”‘ she said. 

‘Whilst I chuckled at the seemingly basic statement, he actually has a bloody good point. If you are going to commit to long distance, you’ve gotta ascertain “is this worth it?”‘

Polly has shared a number of pictures of herself and ‘Beej’ on Instagram, but has yet to reveal his full name or occupation.

The couple enjoyed a date night at Melba Restaurant in Melbourne on March 5, before the Covid-19 pandemic struck.

She has also documented their bushwalks, Facetime conversations and fancy-dress parties they’ve attended.
