Kimberly Wyatt’s husband Max Rogers quips that he’s ‘relieved’ there’s no Dancing On Ice curse

Kimberly Wyatt and her husband Max Rogers have opened up about her Dancing On Ice stint during a tell-all interview.

The Pussycat Doll, 39, and her fashion model husband, also 39, have been married for almost eight years – and he has quipped of his relief that there is no ‘curse’ surrounding the skating show like on Strictly Come Dancing

When quizzed by The Sunday Mirror’s Notebook magazine if he was relieved about the lack of curse, he said: ‘Yeah, I’d have been snooping at every training session if it was Strictly. You’re thrust into an intimate environment for a long time, so if there’s any attraction, sparks could fly.’

However, he is a believer that Kimberly is ‘immune to that kind of thing’ where she has danced all of her life – and doesn’t think it would pose much of a challenge to them as a couple.

Television personality Kimberly admitted she was ‘incredibly reluctant’ to sign up for the skating competition, but was encouraged to do so when her other ventures had been postponed due to Covid.

Of the prospect of getting injured, the pop star said: ‘I’m definitely less of a daredevil than I used to be. My health is my wealth and the reason I’m able to support three children.

‘They’re expensive little things! However, that doesn’t stop me putting in 100%.’

Max, whom she began dating in 2011, voiced how he was looking forward to cheering her on – adding that ‘when she goes into this mode, it’s one of the reasons why I love her.’

The couple have three children, Willow, seven, Maple Lyla, four and two-year-old Ford Senna (known as Senna).

Following the birth of their son in October 2019, they made the decision to undergo procedures to prevent them from expanding their brood. Kimberly had her tubes clamped during her C-section, while Max had a vasectomy.

‘By having more, we were adding to the population, so when Senna, the little surprise, came about it made me realise I, well, we, didn’t want to have any more children,’ she admitted.

Elsewhere, Kimberly described herself as the ‘motivator’ when asked about relations between her and the other members of The Pussycat Dolls – Jessica Sutta, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Carmit Bachar.

Their comeback world tour, according to the mother-of-three, is ‘up in the air’ – but she said she ‘can’t wait’ to be on the stage with them all again.

She explained to the magazine there is ‘nothing to talk about’ until things are figured out between Nicole and Robin [Antin, who is suing Nicole, claiming she is refusing to honour an agreement to join the reunion tour unless certain business demands are met – which Nicole denies].
