Kyle Sandilands brutally shuts down Nova radio hosts Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton’s request for Zac Efron’s phone number
So it is no surprise Nova 91.9’s Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton reached out to Kyle Sandilands for help in getting in contact with Zac Efron for an interview.
They phoned the KIIS FM host, 49, out of the blue on Tuesday to ask whether they could get the Hollywood A-lister’s phone number as he is currently filming a movie where they are based in South Australia.

The young shock jocks tempted the radio veteran with a $10,000 charity donation if he agreed to pass it on – but Kyle, who was seen at Zac’s 33rd Byron birthday bash in October, was having none of it.
‘No f***ing way, are you kidding?’ Kyle exclaimed. ‘It’s a great idea. I should put him on my show… I’ll put him on my show this week and you guys can record it and chop me out.
‘The short answer is no way, but I’ll let him you know you said, “What up?”
‘You’re talking to the wrong person – I say no to charity.’

Ben and Liam went on to offer Kyle $15,000 for himself to instead get Zac to phone through to them by the end of the week as part of their Zac! Call us back! campaign.
‘Guys, guys I’m on the opposition network here,’ Kyle responded, before trailing off to ask his co-star, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, her thoughts.
‘Why wouldn’t we be having Zac on our show though?’ she said.
Best pals: Kyle is said to have a great friendship with Zac (pictured), who is currently in South Australia filming a movie. The shock jock attended Zac’s 33rd birthday in October
‘I mean I love you guys but… tell them they’re dreaming.’
Ben and Liam’s plea for help in getting Zac’s number follows their program becoming the most popular commercial radio show in South Australia in September.
Their show jumped 1.3 percentage points to an audience share of 11 per cent in the latest radio survey.
