La La Anthony simply stuns as she goes braless underneath a gorgeous black leather blazer… after debuting new rice water hair care line

She first found fame on the radio in Los Angeles and has since made her mark on the entertainment industry with starring roles on MTV and VH1, before venturing into the world of cosmetics nearly a decade ago.

And La La Anthony proved to know a thing or two about fashion as she dared to bare while going braless underneath a gorgeous black leather blazer for the Power Book IV: Force premiere in Manhattan on Saturday.

The 39-year-old actress dressed to impress for event which launched the spin-off of the Starz series, just days after she released her own ‘power potion’ rice water hair care line.

La La stood out from the crowd wearing a black LUAR coat with a thin brown strap across her collar bone and a pair of high-waisted briefs underneath.

She rocked a pair of thigh-grazing boots and carried a micro purse in one hand to match her striking ensemble.

Anthony’s dark brown hair was slicked back into a tight bun, with effortless glam created by makeup artist Rebecca Lee highlighting her already flawless features.

She caught up with Power Book IV: Force’s star Joseph Sikora, who looked dapper in an all-black ensemble complete with a shiny black tie.

La La’s latest hair care line, Inala, was born during the pandemic when creating a self-care routine became the most important step of the day.

‘A lot of my hairstyles had been clip-ins or wigs or braids or weaves,’ she told PEOPLE. ‘And I realized how damaged my natural hair was because I wasn’t taking care of or paying attention to it.’

‘And I was like, “It’s not okay to just be happy when your hair looks good when you have all this other stuff in it,”‘ she said. ‘I started researching and experimenting with rice water. I was even tweeting about it. I found a village in China where women have hair down to the floor.’

Her ‘power potion’ was born in the kitchen using ‘100% rice water complex that’s directly extracted from the rice grain and we combined it with Biotin and [amino acid] Arginine.’

When it came to naming the product, La La, who shares co-parenting responsibilities of her 14-year-old son Kiyan with ex Carmelo Anthony, joked it was ‘hard’ to figure out what to nail down.

‘Inala is my real name, Alani, spelled backwards, and it means place of peace,’ she said. ‘And I was thinking, when you’re having a good hair day, you are at peace. Your day is better. You perform better at work. You perform better as a mom. You just perform better overall. It does give you peace of mind when you know, ‘My hair looks good. I feel good about myself.’ I like to say it’s self-care in a bottle.’
