Laura Whitmore showcases her baby bump in a blue mini dress after hitting back at troll

Laura Whitmore once again showcased her growing baby bump on Friday, slipping into a blue knitted dress in radiant new Instagram snaps.

The pregnant TV presenter, 35, looked radiant as she happily modelled the bright blue mini dress by Hasan Hejazi on Instagram as she continued filming the new series of Celebrity Juice.

Her snaps come after she was forced to hit back at a cruel troll who accused her of causing ‘hurt and pain’ with her ‘perfect’ Instagram posts.

In her fashion post, Laura pouted up a storm as she gazed at the camera as she showed off her dress which featured a ribbed bodice and frilled hem.

The star proved that pregnancy wouldn’t stop her wearing her favourite heels as she rocked a towering nude pair by Steve Madden.

Laura accessorised her look with simple gold necklaces, while her blonde locks were swept into an elegant up do.

Earlier in the day, Laura urged people to ‘think before they send’ as she addressed a harsh message from an Instagram user.

Laura shared a screenshot of the conversation on her stories, in which the person wrote: ‘Hi just wondered if you’d ever acknowledged the hurt and pain you cause people with your “perfect” posts.

‘I don’t follow you but sadly they come up on my explore page. Your perfect demonstration of life has cost other people’s lives, quite literally. Perhaps something to be aware of with your future posts.’

The Love Island host revealed she had already reported the troll, adding that their comments were ‘not a one off’.

She added: ‘Instagram is not real life and you cannot blame other people for your feelings. But sending messages like this is dangerous. Take responsibility for yourself.

‘Don’t judge people by an Instagram post. No one knows what people are fighting privately. I choose to use social platforms for work and positivity.’

The TV star later shared her response to the message in which she called their comments ‘detrimental’ and advised that they can ‘mute accounts’ if they are a ‘trigger’.

She added that they should not ‘blame’ other people for their feelings and noted that they should ‘take responsibility’ for themselves and their own feelings.

Hitting back at the way in which they addressed her, Laura went on: ‘You have directly messaged a disgusting message to a pregnant woman blaming her for how you feel and saying how I live my life (as positively as possible, being a good daughter, friend, working hard, trying to put optimism out in the world) makes people want to kill themselves? Knowing that I have lost people that way.

‘How vile. I have reported your account as this message shouldn’t be allowed and is very dangerous. And I take it very serious. You need to take a hard look at yourself.’

The Instagram user soon apologised in response to Laura’s scathing response, adding they were ‘ashamed’ of themselves and wished her all the best.

Laura and comedian husband Iain are expecting their first child together after tying the knot in a secret ceremony last November.

The social media post comes after ITV’s Lorraine Kelly accidentally revealed the gender of their baby to the nation during a recent live interview.

The broadcaster, 61, let slip that the blonde is set to welcome a daughter, noting that the mother-to-be will likely want to pass advice on to her ‘baby girl’.

To which Laura, slightly taken aback, replied: ‘Well, my baby… yes,’ as she and Iain had been yet to confirm the gender of their unborn child.

However, the presenter confirmed her baby’s gender in an excerpt from her new self-help book, No One Can Change Your Life Except for You.

She said: ‘As I finish this book, it doesn’t end at chapter nine, there’s a new chapter coming into my life – in the form of a baby girl currently growing inside me and that scares the s**t out of me.’

The media personality has documented her pregnancy on social media and previously said she is due in ‘early 2021’.

Last month, the former MTV star revealed she has no plans to give up working when she becomes a mother.

The model told how her mother Carmel having a child ‘out of wedlock’ in 1980s Ireland taught her ‘there’s nothing you can’t do’.

Speaking to The Telegraph, she said: ‘All my friends from school are doctors or teachers. The fact that I even thought it was possible to go off and work at MTV came from my mum because her attitude was: “If you want to, then why not?”

‘When people ask if I’m going to give up work this year because of the baby, I’m like, “Why? Mum did it in ’80s Ireland!”‘
