The blonde beauty, 22, headed home after her dumping was aired on Friday and has now admitted she ‘definitely thought she was going to get picked’ by the bricklayer, 21.
She fumed she had become ‘convinced he was the one’ after he ‘told her what she wanted to hear’ during her time in the second villa designed to test the couples.
Oh dear: Dumped Love Island star Lillie Haynes has revealed her shock that Liam Reardon didn’t bring her back from Casa Amor and says she felt ‘misled’ by the Welsh hunk
During Friday night’s dramatic recoupling Liam returned to the main villa to reunite with former partner Millie, 24, despite having spent four days cracking on with Lillie, sleeping in a bed with her and kissing outside of challenges.
The trainee accountant from Newcastle told The Sun: ‘When I found out Liam hadn’t chosen me, I felt misled. He’d been giving me what I wanted to hear and I was convinced he was the one.
‘He made me feel as if I had a really strong chance of going back to the villa with him. He was very hands-on — we were like a couple in there.

‘So I definitely thought I was going to get picked. When he chose to go back alone, I was shocked.
‘Then when I walked into the villa with the other girls, I didn’t like how Liam had Millie’s necklace and his arm around her after how he’d been with me.’
She added that it wouldn’t have been nice of her to have let Millie carry on unaware of their fling to prevent her from ‘being mugged off’.
Lillie added that she ‘spoke up’ so that Millie would ‘put a question mark in her head’ about Liam, before adding that the tradesman might not have told her the ‘whole truth’.
Shock: Millie was left in tears after Liam returned from Casa Amor alone to recouple with her – only for his disloyalty to soon be revealed
She continued, saying that she didn’t reveal the news to be ‘petty’ but to encourage her to be ‘wary’.
It comes after on Saturday Lillie’s family pleaded with trolls to ‘stop the hate,’ after she revealed her fling with Liam in Casa Amor.
In a lengthy Instagram post to her account, the blonde’s family threw their support behind her decision to break Millie’s heart by announcing she shared a kiss with the hunk, insisting she ‘hasn’t behaved badly.’
The post went on to remind fans to ‘be kind’ and that they would be ‘very naive’ to think contestants solely take part in the show to find love.

Having taken over Lillie’s social media during her Love Island tenure, her loved ones wrote: ‘Great to see Lillie going into the villa and dropping the truth bomb.
‘Our girl went into this experience hoping to find a connection with a guy who felt the same way but unfortunately she didn’t find him.
‘Just like every other islander Lillie was perfectly entitled to get to know everyone.
‘Both Jake & Teddy made it very clear they wanted to return to their girls and slept on the day beds, so full respect to those guys. The other lads wanted to get to know the new girls, share their beds and kiss them etc.

‘Only one person has behaved badly towards Millie and it most definitely was NOT Lillie.
‘The truth will always come out … and probably sooner than you think. Have your comments below as always and that includes Millie’s fans, we too like Millie but think hard before typing and who you direct any hate towards.
‘Better still, Don’t hate and remember these are just a group of gorgeous young people enjoying the holiday experience of a lifetime for an entertainment TV show.
Unimpressed: Lillie spilled the beans on what had happened in Casa Amor, telling the Islanders she was shocked to have not been picked by Liam after their steamy kisses and sharing a bed
The blonde beauty declared she was ‘over the moon’ to be reunited with her Welsh partner after four days apart when he walked back in solo.
However in a shock twist just moments later, Lillie appeared at the fire pit and explained she’d shared kisses outside of challenges and a bed with the hunk during the ‘lads holiday’.
Asked how she was feeling about not being picked by host Laura Whitmore, a very unimpressed Lillie said: ‘I felt like we had a good connection in there.
‘I feel like it was very reciprocated, very 50/50 and it’s really surprising now. The actions were pretty equal, we shared a bed and kissed outside of the challenges.’
Rollercoaster: Just moments earlier, Liam and Millie had been overjoyed at being reunited
The OG girls all looked confused at the revelations, with them unable to hide their shock when Lillie announced that the boy she had the connection was with Liam.
Millie quickly slammed her partner, saying: ‘F**k off, are you joking? Kissing outside a challenge? That’s f*****g disgusting.’
In a desperate attempt to salvage the situation Liam tried to explain himself and even attempted to blame Lillie saying she’d ‘closed herself off from the other boys.’
Millie told them that she felt ‘mugged off’ especially after gushing over Liam just moments before his disloyalty was revealed.
Emotional: Once the recoupling was called to an end – and Lillie made her exit from the villa – the girls retreated to the swing for a chat
She said: ‘I sat there so happy and then it just switched… the happiest I’d been in days to crying. Knew I shouldn’t have trusted him. He’s fake.
‘He obviously didn’t think what we had was good enough.’
Trying to comfort her pal, Chloe added: ‘No, that’s why he didn’t come back with her, he knew it wasn’t good enough [compared to you]. Thank goodness she came in and said it, he thought he’d got away with it like a lads holiday.’
Later in the show, Liam and Millie spoke briefly with him trying to make amends but the blonde saying they had ‘taken a massive step back’.
