Love Island fans are fearing newcomer Danny Bibby will steal AJ Bunker from Hugo Hammond after his split from Lucinda Strafford on Monday’s episode.
Danny, 25, was seen speaking to AJ, 28, on the day beds after he chose to throw a pie in 21-year-old Lucinda’s face because he claimed she didn’t speak to him all day – with the couple going their separate ways.
In a shock dumping on Sunday night, AJ picked Hugo to couple up with, sending his friend Sharon Gaffka home, but since then the PE teacher has been expressing his reservations about their future.

Talking in the beach hut, he confessed that while he thinks she is ‘gorgeous’ he believes there is ‘something missing’.
But it appears Danny may now be setting his sights on the AJ after he selected her to snog in the Snog, Marry, Pie game, and pied his current partner Lucinda – who was less than impressed with his decision.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to share their concerns that AJ and Hugo’s relationship may be in jeopardy after Danny appeared to gravitate towards the beauty.
One person wrote: ‘Danny and AJ best not be thinking about putting Hugo at risk of going home.’

After the challenge, Danny and Lucinda sat down together and ended things because they felt they were too ‘serious’ around each other.
Not happy about getting pied, Lucinda said: ‘I didn’t understand your reasoning behind that challenge.’
Unapologetic, Danny replied: ‘I’m not the type to chase you like a little dog. I’d rather take you down a peg and have banter with you.

Danny said: ‘I want you to have a good time and I can sense I don’t bring that out in you.’
Lucinda replied: ‘No I don’t think you do. I’m not like this with you but I feel like with you, I feel quite serious.’

Danny said: ‘You’re like the Lamborghini I want to drive, put the key in and it doesn’t work.’
‘Maybe buy a new car,’ Lucinda joked.
Going their separate ways: ‘I need to just nip it in the bud I think,’ Danny said, to which Lucinda agreed: ‘You need to nip it in the bud.’
Speaking in the beach hut, Lucinda added: ‘I am so happy that Danny situation is over and out. Aaron is the nicest person ever I just can’t wait to get to know him more.’
Lucinda then let Aaron know what happened, saying: ‘I’ve just ended it with him. I didn’t think I had it in me but I did it somehow. He made out like he was doing it as well but I did it.
‘He said, ‘you’re the fittest one in here but you’re a black Lamborghini that doesn’t start.’ What the f**k is that supposed to mean?’
Before their kiss, Lucinda jokingly asked: ‘Have you ever actually been in a relationship in here? What have you been doing?’

Aaron replied: ‘I was with Sharon [Gaffka] for a bit. About as long as you and Brad [were together].’
Lucinda then questioned why Aaron was interested in her because she’s ‘nothing like Sharon’, to which Aaron explained: ‘Well I ended it with Sharon after a couple of days, I don’t know if you noticed. But I mean look, a lot of things have happened, and I’m happy it ended up like this.’
The pair will be anxiously awaiting the next re-coupling, as they’ll be wanting to make things official between them.
Lucinda said: ‘I’m happy as well. Good things come to those who wait.’

He said: ‘I basically ended it with Lucinda. We both feel like there’s a weight lifted off our shoulders and we’re just friend zone. I’m chilling.
‘I want to get to know you. Even though we haven’t spoke we were looking at each other. There was none of that with Lucinda.’
AJ is currently coupled up with Hugo who she has said she’s interested in but hinted at being open to a romance with Danny, saying their relationship is still in ‘early days’.

During the challenge, the islanders had to pick three different people to either snog, ‘marry’ or pie.
When it was Danny’s turn, he passed Lucinda and said: ‘You ain’t spoke to me,’ and kissed AJ.
Before pieing Lucinda, he said: ‘Treat ’em mean keep ’em keen.’
Unimpressed, Lucinda said in the beach hut: ‘OK then hun fine pie me, whatever.’
Lucinda then ignored Danny for her kiss, choosing to smooch Aaron, who had picked her for his snog earlier.
